MATINÉE GROUP was born in 1997 as a night-parties promoter group. This year La Madame opens its doors, in Luna Mora (Nowadays Catwalk)


It is bought as club in the centre of Barcelona (Rda Sant Pere, 19-21) which will hold a session for the gay public at friday and saturday nights (Salvation).

Matinée starts having presence in Ibiza with sporadic parties.


We inagurated the milenium with a session called Le Soleil, wich will remain on the weekly schedule of Barcelona's night life the whole year in Barcelona's port (Nowadays Shoko).


Souvenir opens its doors, and in a short time it will turn into Barcelona's "after" par excellence.


Matinée Group consolidates its offer in Ibiza trought its relationship with Space. The club makes its the matinal sessions of saturdays and attract the tourists of Ibiza besides the inconditionals of this brand in Catalunya.


Café Olé starts as a Tea Dance on Sundays. The present year, Matinée celebrates its 6th birthday. More than five years making nights (and mornigs) happy.

Matinée keeps on working for the best sessions of Mediterranean.

In that same year Matinée Group starts working together with the L'Atlàntida disco in Sitges, with a weekly residency on Wednesday nights.

In September, and after almost 20 years in Ibiza, Space arrives in Barcelona. Space Barcelona is established as the most groundbreaking club in the city, and it is managed by Matinée Group.


The weekly "Saturday Morning" sessions by Matinée Group are started at Space Ibiza. The group's presence on the holiday island is a total success session after session.

Matinée Group starts managing the L'Atlàntida disco. The most famous disco in Sitges could count on the experience and management skills of Matinée Group, and opens its doors everyday except Mondays.

In the summer of 2006, Matinée Group organizes the Nightology Boat parties, in association with J&B, all over Spain. It is a stunning tribute to sound, light and pleasure.

After many years, the Matinée World Tour grows to become one of the gambles of Matinée which most pays off. The travelling session of the group plays at the greatest venues all across the world.


In January of 2007, Matinée Group receives 2 Deejaymags 06 awards (National Dance Music Awards): one prize to recognise the successful 9 year career of Matinée Group and another prize for J.Louis & Ior.dee as best DJs in Ibiza for the 2006 season.

Furthermore, the Matinée Group events in London are chosen as best event of 2006 in the city. Without a doubt, Matinée is truly leaving its mark with the Matinée World Tour.

In February the Sunday evening sessions at Café Olé are started up again, at a venue simply beyond compare, in Calle Taragona.

In March, Matinée Group is present at the Winter Music Awards Conference and at the best club of USA: Space Miami, establishing itself as the national promotions group with the greatest impact around the world.
